The student who hung “White Only” and “Colored” signs on doors and water fountains in a dormitory at Sweet Briar College last Thursday isn’t a racist – she’s a social justice crusader trying to “make a point.”
Yep, barely a week into the fall 2014 semester, and we’ve already got our first official hate crime hoax of the school year.

If I was in the college I would just ignore the signs and drink from whatever fountain I pleased.
Also social justice moron doesn’t realize that government in the south was who mandated such signs in the first place.
But I am sure more government is what we need to fix such issues.....

I saw in another thread that you have a big list of these.
Probably an OFA drone that got the memo about keeping racial identity politics on the front page, and the scandals and policy failures sharing space with the classifieds.
This will end, more or less, when states crack down on such hoaxes as state offense equivalents to disturbing the peace. And more to the point, creating a means by which those impugned by the hoax may sue for damages.

Sweet Briar is in my area; my niece graduated from the school in May.
When this story popped up on my local news, with the students moaning and crying, one of them saying she stayed up until 3 in the morning to “console” others (LOL), I knew damn well a black person was behind it.
I could see a black girl arriving there, carrying a chip on her shoulder over Ferguson, seeing all those well-off white girls and deciding it was time to teach them a lesson.
The college president promised there would be stern punishment for the act, but I figured that once the race of the culprit was discovered, they would let the matter drop. And it seems that’s going to happen.

That’s the tragedy-——the unfairness of it all.

I like it. Jail time to start. And in my fantasy world, any and every white (or straight as in some cases) person would be eligible to collect monetary damages in this scenario, and Debtor's Prison would be available.

And I’m sure the students don’t feel the least bit silly for prostrating themselves before the altar of racial justice.

You should see what they are doing to the gaming industry. Faking attacks to gain publicity, literally getting in bed with so called journalists. There is a battle going on between gamers, the social justice crowd, and gaming journalists.
It’s called gamergate and it’s joining left and right together to fight bias and ethics issues. Many of you aren’t gamers and probably dismiss it, but you should see the tactics being used. This is the future of political discussion and it is frightening. This sector is 5 to 10 years ahead in its use of social media and technology.

A caution to anybody looking for “aristocrats” videos on youtube: big-name comedians have a contest every year to see who can tell the most profane version of an old joke called “The Aristocrats”.
I like the comment that says it was a black culprit THIS time, but Sweet Briar is known to be racist, and the white people need to be forced to look at themselves and their prejudices.
Wish I could meet the poster in person just so I could tell him no one cares, and to shut his cakehole.
