ABC to Phil Robertson: 'Would You Consider Yourself a Homophobe?'

Although Phil Robertson appeared on Tuesday's Good Morning America to promote his new book, reporter Ryan Owens couldn't resist portraying the reality show personality as an anti-gay bigot. Owens reminded viewers of the Duck Dynasty star's interview with GQ where he called homosexuality a sin. Owens pressed, "Would you consider yourself a homophobe?" [See video below. MP3 audio here.]

Robertson retorted, "I'm as much of a homophobe as Jesus was. People who are participating in homosexual behavior, they need to know that I love them." ABC has not been consistent in pressing liberal celebrities about their controversial views. GMA hosts have repeatedly hyped Rosie O'Donnell without questioning the comedienne's 9/11 conspiracy beliefs.

Phil made fun of his brother-in-law (I think) in one episode and then ridiculed him for being from Florida. Is there a term for being anti-Florida (this should be good)? :-)

People always say we need to embrace all these folks “out of love” but only problem with that is by doing so we are harming children, suggesting to them that this is a ok lifestyle for them if they so choose.

If by calling me an anti-gay bigot or homophobe someone is implying that I despise homosexuality, pedophilia, the gay agenda and sexual perverts who bully people who don’t care to participate in their perversion, then yes, I am. As I said in the OP, Leftist arrogance permits then to define anyone who disagrees with them as by definition mentally ill. To that they add stupid, ill-informed and/or evil.

If you go to Craigslist and look into Casual Encounters, you will find a lot of men “dabbling” in it. Don’t look at anything with the word “pic” beside it. I was completely unaware of the severity of the problem until I saw that and I have been around gay people all my life...literally.

I drove a cab in suburban DC [MD & VA] for a total of 6 years and encountered many homosexuals. They had to hire taxis because they tend to be over-represented in alcoholism. Physically, they were either morbidly obese or were over-doing it in the gym. They sure didn’t seem gay to me; they seemed pretty miserable, in fact.

The last time I looked at the stats, male homosexuals are the most likely to contract STDs and female homosexuals are the least, with male and female heteros in the middle. In Africa, it’s mostly relatively affluent male heterosexuals and their wives/girlfriends. In that culture, men who have money have sex with more women and their wives have no conception of saying no, even if they know their husbands are infected.

In the West, the most promiscuous are male homosexuals, so of course they are going to be infected the most.
