[ Freedom, the right to move about unhindered, right to reasonable privacy even in public and the right to be left alone to live your life without mountains of regulation and laws on top of laws on top of even more laws. ]

Part of Freedom is the government RESPECTING people enough that they trust them to do the right thing without having to keep them under constant surveilence...

Even though I always wear my seatbelt this is precisely WHY I LOATHE seatbelt laws.

In Texas, drivers must wear a seat belt while driving an automobile, but you do not have to wear a helmet or a seat belt while operating a motorcycle.

Hmmmm! Strange contradiction.

A person will be found in violation of the law for possession of marijuana, yet possession of the equally dangerous intoxicant alcohol is perfectly legal to have in your possession.

Not advocating, just pointing out the hypocrisy.

A person is allowed to carry legally in plain sight a long gun with no license, but must conceal a handgun and apply for a license.

hmmm!

An illegal alien can posses forged documents, jump an international border, falsify information on government applications for school, medical, housing and get stopped by the PoPo...they are released. An American possesses forged documents, falsifies information on government documents and your sorry @$$ will be heading to prison.

Hmmmm!

Laws on top of laws on top of laws. Makes little sense.
