Whew! Thanks for the heads up. I am having a hard time finding Malt Vinager and was thinking of substituting....

While more expensive, I do think balsamic is a lovely substitute.

It makes a great vinaigrette and It is nice on fried chicken too.

Another thing I do is use plain old cider vinegar and infuse that with hot chilis.
