Report: 3 More Americans Killed Fighting with ISIS in Syria

Reports this past week identified two Americans – Douglas McCain from San Diego and Abdiraaman Muhumad from Minneapolis — who were killed by Syrian rebel groups last weekend as they were fighting with ISIS.

A new claim was made on a Syrian rebel Twitter feed this morning saying that an additional three Americans have been killed fighting with ISIS near Ghouta.

A video purporting to show the three dead Americans was posted on Youtube (WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO):

Yet another American from Florida, Moner Mohammad Abusalha, conducted a suicide bombing for Jabhat al-Nusra — the official Al-Qaeda affiliate in Syria — back in May.

An article in the current issue of The Economist reports on Western foreign fighters joining jihadist groups in Syria and Iraq. The following graphic included in that article estimates that 70 Americans are currently fighting there, though other estimates have indicated that more than one hundred may be in the area.

Once again, there are NO AMERICANS fighting with ISIS.

Perhaps some former Americans, but they lost their citizenship once they ventured to the dark side.

Well, they chose to fight for something they believed in. I think that they were nuts, just plain nuts. I also believe that they were unbelievably selfish in regards to their families and friends. Maybe they had neither and nothing to lose.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. Immigrants are taught all of America’s sins and are told to keep their own culture and not integrate. Their thinking does not change from what it was when they or their parents lived in these God-forsaken hellholes. So they go back and fight. And if given the opportunity, they would fight here too.

The reality on the ground is more complicated than that.

There’s also a “moderate” (Note the quotes) group of Syrian rebels who are opposed to Assad called the Free Syrian Army.

ISIS hates their guts also and vice versa.

Terrorists of al stripes are in the same category as brigands and pirates. They are outside the law and the law does not apply to them. They will follow no law and should not have the protection of the law. And all who support them are them.
