Faced with rampant reports of sexual harassment and mistrust of the chain of command on the USS Germantown, Navy leaders turned to Cmdr. Jason Leach for help.
Sailors applauded when Rear Adm. Hugh Wetherald, commander of the Amphibious Force Seventh Fleet, gave Leach command of the Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship in May 2013, after the departure of the previous captain, Cmdr. Carol McKenzie, who could be so harsh that her behavior bordered on verbal abuse, according to a half-dozen sailors who served with both skippers.

Sounds like the feminists have a tit for tat going.

I actually, to my regret, read that linked article. What a cesspool the US Navy has become. I remember watching some PBS thing called “Carrier” about life aboard a modern carrier. (Having previously served on a few, I was interested.)
I was appalled. I couldn’t believe that was what it had turned into. What a bunch of sniveling, whiny jackasses.
I had people say to me “Don’t pay it much attention, it is PBS and they portrayed it that way for dramatic effect...” or some such thing.
Reading the linked article to this story reinforced in me how right I perceived that, and how wrong those people were.

If they destroy or weaken the military in the process, and at the same time sow dissension between the sexes and the races, even better.
Turns out he didn't last long after he transferred to factory production... and managed to get himself fired from the company after being with them in one form or anyor for 20something years.
And people had doubts about putting women on combat ships! Ha! that’ll show them! ... Oh wait ... maybe not :(
Politics. What a load.
