I told em the same thing - why should I honor unions? Maybe there was once a time, but now they are definitely the turd in the punchbowl.
Unions are nothing nowadays but forced labor, government monopolies of labor - by the union, for the union, for nothing but the union - and its paid politicians.
The companies are FORCED by the state to hire the unions, the unions selectively hire the workers who will support the unions, the workers hire the politicians who force the companies to hire the unions.
