It was about 1987. I was attending a popular Bible church in Reston, Va.
The pastor there is an excellent teacher of God's Word.
In the course of his sermon, he asked former Catholics in the congregation to raise their hands. Waaaaay more than half did. Me too.
People hear God's Word, study it, understand it, and begin the process of abandoning fables and tradition in favor of the power of the truth.
God is good.
All the time.
