...well, select fire is the correct term. Looks like they got rid of bunker "Nacht" near Munich that had 50,000 G3 rifles. Germans stored them there as they transitioned to G36. They were refurbished at the HK factor(ies) and, seriously, look brand new.

Germans do what they say they will do—Their guns will work too. No MRE or blankets—weapons! The Kurds will put them to good use. When the war is over—Kurdistan will make a great a great client for Germany.
