You haven’t driven one, have you? My children love their luxury vehicles. They live in So. Cal., one has a new Lexus, the other an Audi A-7, my son in law drives a Tesla, and my husband has a new vette. I’ll take the Tesla.

There's a great you tube drag race between an Aston Martin Rapide 12 cylinder vs a Tesla --- to be fair, the race started with the Aston already running, with the Tesla giving the Rapide a head start and the Tesla at a virtual stop. Then both drivers hit the pedal. The Tesla, because of its torque, beat the doors off the Rapide.
Tesla is outselling cars of this class -- aka "luxury class"

Telsa is a luxury car? Really? Yes, and as a taxpayer you are buying luxury cars for the well-off. The car has over 400 hp. It is complete and utter overkill for what an electric car is supposed to be (saving resources not wasting them).
