Read any news story that treats with a subject in your field and you quickly recognize that the writer has no idea what he's writing about.
Guns are a good example of this phenomenon. The MSM seemingly contains nobody who's ever so much as handled a gun, much less fired one. Instead, they prefer to be willfully ignorant.
