Tax them, and if they don’t like it, tax their assets if they leave. And after they leave if they try to sell their product in America, import tariff it!

They make trillions while destroying the middle class, then they want to leave the country with their ill-gotten gains?

Tax them!

In deference to your many years here on FR, I will say this as gently as possible. These are not the actions of conservatives, we should, at all times, seek to lower taxes. Instead give the ones that stay here, tax breaks such that they out-compete these corporations. It is not their fault that the loophole exists, and frankly, if I was a shareholder, I'd have to say I agree with their decision to leave. It is, virtually their only way to protest the excessive taxation that is levied against them, and it is only a matter of time before they are driven out of business by being at such an unfair advantage. Think of it as corporate self-preservation. We should be angry at the politicians who are diverting our attention towards these corporations, and away from the ones that should really be held accountable, namely, the politicians themselves. It is they who have created this environment, and frankly it is they who are killing the golden goose for the short term gain of more taxes. Long term, no corporation can operate at such a competitive disadvantage for long.
