Well the reporters think our press ranks 46 http://rsf.org/index2014/en-index2014.php but I think they are being optimistic and they admit we are in free fall. Russia is #147 so a lot worse than I thought. Ukraine is #127, not worth fighting for.

It will take years of killing Russian occupiers but in the end Russia will not be able to continue it’s genocidal occupation

Doesn't sound accurate or like much of a plan. I would propose leaving the Ukrainians alone, I don't think they are about to be genocide victims.

“Dissidents are not tolerated much in Russia”

Not much on this site either, LOL. But I agree - but the question is what’s done to them. Like I say, the large scale labor camps don’t exist in that country, as far as I know and even Western countries have their own issues in dealing with dissent - just try saying a few (accurate) things about Islam and watch what happens in England, Canada, and Holland - we’re talking JAIL TIME (maybe nicer jails than Russia, but still jail time).

Our Constitution is being undermined daily by the home grown and foreign elite who would like to see the end of the American experiment.

Russia is fully united with them. Most of them have ties to KGB-front groups. Even Obama with his mentor Frank Marshal Davis, who was a Communist agent. The No-Nukes, Anti-NATO, anti-American crowd themselves are made up mostly of Cold-War era Communist front groups who advocate that the United States should be passive, inactive, and dissolve NATO, in order to avoid provoking Russia and China. The Ron Paul Foundation is a newer manifestation of these front groups, with many of its members formerly working for Pro-Soviet apologist groups, or they have links to the Eurasianists such as Alexandr Dugin. They're song is always the same, which is, that we should mind our own business.

IOW, what you are saying is nothing more than Russian directed propaganda as organized by the KGB and now FSB.

Never said it was.

You claimed we were "evolving" into Russian style kleptocracy. The effect being that we are not so different from them, or will become them, and, thus, we should not worry about them. But how this is actually logical, you do not explain.

The Russian are ahead of us on the road to kleptocracy but do not have state-run industry benefitting communists

"There are three criteria for state capitalism: substantial state ownership in enterprises; direct government involvement in those enterprises; and an otherwise capitalist system where most enterprises are privately held and operate in market conditions. Russia meets them all. Aslund noted that the state owns two-thirds of the market capitalization in the Russian stock market. However, that ownership is mainly limited to four industries: energy (oil, gas, and electricity), banks, defense industries, and transportation. "

http://www.wilsoncenter.org/publication/the-role-state-corporations-the-russian-economy

Most of the oligarchs themselves are "former" KGB agents and have their monopolies due to Kremlin policy.

Who cares?

Americans do. Obviously, Useful Idiots care about nothing.

Russia's GDP isn't even one seventh of the USA’s. Their economy is growing at less than one percent and their inflation rate is more than seven percent. The ruble is at an all time low.

After we arm the Christian Ukrainians, they won't turn against us.

The Soviet occupation of Afghanistan lasted ten years.

Patriotic Americans are not going to “leave the Ukrainians alone.” We are going to help them kill our Russian enemies until the Russians retreat back to Russia in humiliation and defeat.

Obama is not really a result of KGB communist fronts. Those certainly had a role in the destruction of America, but the most destruction came from the hippies and the other protesters of Vietnam along with the warmongers who created Vietnam. Strength and therefore peace do not come from involvements like that. Of course there were foreign agents undermining us then as they are now. Those had two goals, one to get us to "mind or own business" as you put it. but their more important goal was to weaken our culture and our capitalism.

We are in a fight for survival as a free country not just the free country that keeps the rest of the world free. Our enemies have already won the foreign soil battle for the most part. Now we going down fast at home. You apparently do not understand the extent of our kleptocracy. It starts with printing money which is given out to favored industries and the 48%. That steals from the productive and the thrifty. From your link

Instead, the actual government strategy is focused on consolidating, maintaining, and expanding political and economic power for the ruling elites through the control of select industries and enterprises.

I don't see much difference between that and our largest banks. Granted they are not run by the CIA or former CIA.

I guess I am a "useful idiot" since I don't care in the least about Ukraine. I may have to put something about that in my tag line.

Good luck sorting out the Christians from the secular socialists controlling Ukraine. I suspect you will be arming them both.

A lot of the time we have to read Russian sources (or British, etc) to find out what is going on here.

Correction: a lot of the time you have to read Russian sources (or British, etc.) to confirm your bias.

Seriously, there is nothing more frightening than a "conservative" defending the Russian press. Those that aren't in prison, already, I mean.

I would refer you to various links that get posted here and are remarkable in how honest Pravda is compared to NYT or Washington Post. I could find for you but you can probably do that yourself. What I didn't realize is that domestic freedom of the press in Russia is very poor until I read through the link I posted above from http://en.rsf.org/russia.html I stand corrected, freedom of the press within Russia is very limited.

Obama is not really a result of KGB communist fronts.

Was Frank Marshal Davis not a Communist agent? Trevor Loudon's research (found on his website) and his books detail Obama's communist ties extensively.

Those certainly had a role in the destruction of America, but the most destruction came from the hippies and the other protesters

Be specific. Which "protestors" from what organization? Which hippies? The KGB was involved in the anti-war movement and used its front groups to create the "hippies" you are referring to.

As for "warmongers," it sounds like you might be a hippy yourself.

We are in a fight for survival as a free country

Yes, and our enemy is international communism and the ideologies of suicide, such as represented by liberal socialism and Liberaltarian isolationism.

liberal socialism and Liberaltarian isolationism

You were doing pretty well with the KGB's destruction of America. No doubt there was more to it than I have read about. However you are falsely equating interventionism and republican free market capitalism (the opposite of liberal socialism). Interventionism clearly undermines free market capitalism. The reason is that economic strength leads to military strength. We can have economic strength and isolationism. Or we can have interventionism which is pot luck. Sometimes it works out such as WWII when we were victorious and benefitted economically. Sometimes it does not like in pissant countries like Vietnam where we were supposed to stop the communist tide. Did that adventure weaken communism in any way? If the politicians had let the military planners run Vietnam do you think we would have won? If your answer to the latter is yes, then I cannot help you. You are a military utopian.

You confuse Pravda’s anti-Obama stance (as opposed to the WP’s/NYT’s prop-Obama stances) to “honesty.”
