I'd disagree with lesbians, but agree for gay males, including Sam-no-longer-the-Ram.

I think the people that make this stuff up are grant seekers and/or people with an agenda.

Had an in-law that was a groupie for/with a women's softball team. She was spectacularly ugly, and seemed to get a lot of comfort with her girl friends.

That she also had this "I can do anything I want..." attitude, that extended to shorting her patients their medications at a nursing home is probably coincidental...
