It appears that a lot of British Patriots have had their fill of political
correctness. If they win this seat by a large margin, more Tory defections
will follow and look out then.
I remember someone saying that Western countries have a political pendulum, swinging between liberal and conservative sides. Europe and the U.S. aren’t always in sync, but they sometimes are.
In the 1980s, Reagan and Thatcher reined.
The late 1990s/early 2000s saw Bush and Blair.
Then the EU went far left, and so did we.
I hope the strong right movement in the EU bodes well for a resurgence here, as well.
