Well nobody really expected any UN “troops” to actually stand and fight in the first place.
Those blue helmets don’t exactly strike fear into the hearts of terrorists.

And you can’t go fishing with a two by four.
Does the chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost over night?

They aren’t really there to fight. They are there to occupy a buffer zone between the antagonists reducing the possibility of inadvertent fighting, and to be observers that can testify about who shot at who. Their presence also somewhat complicates planning for making an aggressive move, as they will have to be bypassed.
They are very lightly armed. In this case it is a bit unusual in that the Filipinos and the Irish defended their positions and shot back.

Those blue helmets dont exactly strike fear into the hearts of terrorists. They might not have been issued ammo. After all, they were up against the Religion of Peace.

The same UN troops who would give intel to Hezbollah against the SLA allied with Israel? Screw these people.

World-wide, I would not be surprised to see a very high percentage of work permitted ethnicities to be Fillipino...
They are all over the place...In a lot of countries...

I think I understand why. I'm looking at resumes now for a live in care giver/nurse position. Here are two applicants photos. Which one to hire?
#1 is Pinay
#2 in from the U.K.
