A failed journey: Central American migrants turned back before US border

SAN SALVADOR — When 5-year-old Georgina first saw her older brother and cousin descend from the bus that brought them back from Mexico, she let out a joyful scream.

But her aunt sobbed and her mother couldn’t bear to look. For them, the return of Ismael and Abraham – after just eight days en route to the United States – marked a quick and painful defeat for their family. They had mortgaged their home to pay $8,000 for a coyote to smuggle the cousins to the US.

The teens left El Salvador after gangs had repeatedly threatened them with forced recruitment outside their school. They’re from San Martin, a district east of the capital that’s home to a turf war between the Mara Salvatrucha and 18th Street gangs.

For migrants like Ismael and Abraham, this means a rapid return to frightened and indebted families – and countries unable to keep its citizens safe.

... and countries unable to keep its citizens safe.

The characteristics of those countries:

Unable to control their borders. Results: terrorism, smuggling, crime, gangs, corrupt government. Just like the places they left.

Corrupt government. Results: anarchy. Host invites parasites to enjoy feast of blood and treasure.

Repeat cycle.

Funny how the media always accepts illegal alien accounts of persecution as gospel truth, since "We came here for free stuff" doesn't generate the desired gringo guilt.

Ismael and Abraham?

Odd names for latins?

Fake story. The media lies about everything. we are in Nazi Germany. Let the two bastards, who left all the women and children behind, go back and fight the gangs. They need to change their country, not ours. If they are real, which I doubt. F’in journalists.

Return a couple of thousand more to their home countries, and the home folks might get the message — paying $8,000 for a coyote is a waste of money.

Cry me a river. Maybe they shouldn't be doing business with criminals.

Interesting that the 18th Street gang operates in San Martin, El Salvador, which is a long way from 18th Street--which I use to get to the Santa Monica Freeway when I'm driving north on Figueroa St.

Maybe someone should go to the coyote and demand the money back. If nothing else, it would be entertaining to watch.

So what do you suppose their actual ethnicity is considering their names are “Ishmael” and “Abraham?”

I remember a story on 18st from about 20 years ago. They were the largest gang in LA. Guess they have franchised and gone international.

They need to change their country, not ours.

That is what I don't understand. They (eastern euro, orient, south of the border, etc.) leave their country and come here, supposedly for a better life. Then, they and their offsprings spend the rest of their lives making their new home areas into the same kinds of crime-ridden slums they left years earlier.

It is similar with the Liberals who destroy one area and move on to another area -- to destroy over time.

Of course, a major cause of the destruction is their failure to assimilate and their insistence on retaining 'their culture'.

==

I watched the recent movie Elysium. Ironically, it was the Hollywood Libs actually presenting some truth -- California, more specifically, Los Angeles had devolved into a slum with poor healthcare, food, employment, etc. The elites have moved off-world to a massive space station.

The gist of the story was the 'earthers' trying to get aboard the space station so they could corrupt what the off-eathers had created and they could get take what they thought was their fair share.

Those small countries really need dictators or kings to rule over them. They are unable to come together for their own good.
Must be something about the native culture.

Cry me a river! These degenerates send their kids (abandon them) to criminals with the idea of invading the US and getting welfare. What a bunch of child-abusing morons. Screw ‘em. Report them to the UN for child trafficking and abuse. Maybe the UN moon idiot will give them the moon.

Bingo!

I have no doubts that Ismael and Abraham were probably being sent here to establish a base of so called moderate hardworking immigrants to establish a local chapter where ever they are sent. Social services will help them settle in.

Meanwhile back home, the parents are held liable for sons ability to deliver the info they seek.

Its sad that children have been put through this but let’s be clear. The reason they were isn’t because mean old conservatives don’t want to let them in to live off the US taxpayer for the rest of their lives. The reason is because Obama, the Dems and Central American governments played them in some grand political game.

Thus

Plus

We are not supposed to raise or display the US flag for fear of offending them
Must subject our teachers and children to mangled spanish lessons
And must celebrate the crappy conquistador culture their classmates fled

So maybe its time for the good citizens of Guatamala and other Central American countries to demand change at home.
