Has it been that long already? Wow. Almost thirty years. It was in all the newspapers back then. I don’t recall hearing that he gave any interviews to either recant or double down in any traitorist beliefs.

Isn’t a Warrant Officer, like a sergeant, non-commissioned? And normally not considered and “officer”?

That smug bastard is roasting in hell right now. A firing squad would have been appropriate in this case since Walker never gave up all of his damage to the Feds.

I despise that man and his son for what they did to our Navy.

Check out Walker’s story on youtube 60 Minutes. This is where I remember hearing the depth of this whole mess.

Can’t say I’m Sorry to see this. I was a secret control PO when this happened..all our investigations had to be redone, and NIS crawled 5 miles up your butt, instead of the normal 1 mile. lol

It was a hard time in the Sub force for months after that.

No, they go through a commission school just like other officers. The difference is, they have a specialty that is valued in the military.

Hope he’s burning in hell. If we had gone to war with the Soviets before Walker was caught it would have been like us and the Japanese codes in WWII, except we would have been the ones totally compromised.
