The moment you run for office you’re a politician. We have made it a dirty word. Newt Gingrich says that politics is the romantic notion of how a free people govern themselves. I am proud to call myself a politician. It is the art of getting these done.
I wish Newt’s depth of knowledge, guts, and political insight could be transferred into another person who would run. As it is, Newt is old damaged goods.
