Imminent Terrorist Attack Warning By Feds on U.S. Border
Judicial Watch ^ | Friday, August 29, 2014

Posted on 08/29/2014 11:09:07 AM PDT by kristinn

Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Specifically, Judicial Watch sources reveal that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is confirmed to now be operating in Juarez, a famously crime-infested narcotics hotbed situated across from El Paso, Texas. Violent crimes are so rampant in Juarez that the U.S. State Department has issued a number of travel warnings for anyone planning to go there. The last one was issued just a few days ago.

Intelligence officials have picked up radio talk and chatter indicating that the terrorist groups are going to “carry out an attack on the border,” according to one JW source. “It’s coming very soon,” according to this high-level source, who clearly identified the groups planning the plots as “ISIS and Al Qaeda.” An attack is so imminent that the commanding general at Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, is being briefed, another source confirms. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not respond to multiple inquiries from Judicial Watch, both telephonic and in writing, about this information.

The disturbing inside intelligence comes on the heels of news reports revealing that U.S. intelligence has picked up increased chatter among Islamist terror networks approaching the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. While these terrorists reportedly plan their attack just outside the U.S., President Obama admits that “we don’t have a strategy yet” to combat ISIS. “I don’t want to put the cart before the horse,” the commander-in-chief said this week during a White House press briefing. “I think what I’ve seen in some of the news reports suggest that folks are getting a little further ahead of what we’re at than what we currently are.”

The administration has also covered up, or at the very least downplayed, a serious epidemic of crime along the Mexican border even as heavily armed drug cartels have taken over portions of the region. Judicial Watch has reported that the U.S. Border Patrol actually ordered officers to avoid the most crime-infested stretches because they’re “too dangerous” and patrolling them could result in an “international incident” of cross border shooting. In the meantime, who could forget the famous words of Obama’s first Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano; the southern border is “as secure as it has ever been.”

These new revelations are bound to impact the current debate about the border crisis and immigration policy.

Governor Brown has all but invited everyone in Mexico to come to California. I’m sure that he would welcome some Islamic fundamentalists to ensure that we have plenty of Diversity here in California. Maybe he’ll get his wish on 9/11/14.

I think I might want to avoid being in San Diego on that day.

“If the jihadis are successful”

What could have been done should have been done a long time ago by shutting down the border.

It’s no longer an “IF”, it’s a “when”...

All that work for one kill ?

.....not likely in my opinion.

Simplification of the process, along the lines of starting fires all over the country with a bic lighter is more my SWAG on the matter while a select few go for the sheer terror aspect in a target infested with a democratic voting base to facilitate massive influx of dollars to “rebuild” while lining the pockets of the left etc..

Thats how i would think Valerie Jarrett would orchestrate such ..... Madam Geppetto has her Pinocchio on a very short string of late. Opening the border flood gates , the cover of anarchy stirred with a dose of physical and fiscal panic ..... is a recipe for martial law if media promotes it properly.

Stay Safe

When/if an attack comes that was both predictable and preventable we will hear calls from the left and their cohorts in the press to rally behind our leader and show unity.

The more correct answer will be to banish him to the rubble pile of history alongside Chamberlain.

But alas, I fear, we have no Churchill in the wings.

We need to keep our terminology straight. These terrorists are terrorists only as long as the operate in Mexico. Once they illegally cross the border into the U.S., they become “Dreamers.”

We eliminated the threat coding system. It was making people either anxious, or numb, depending on who you believe.

The NTAS, national terrorism alert system, has a public page where we used to be able to see the current color coded threat assessment. As of the time of this posting there are: no current alerts, and no expired alerts. That’s right: nothing at all.

The system has not published an update since 05 SEP 2013.
(Not a typo... 2013. Almost a year. Think about what’s happened in the last year with Hamas, ISIL, Al Qaeda, etc. and let that thought sink in.)

I am sadly reminded of Ron White...
Current status should probably be:
Put on your f#@$# helmet.

I suspect Vlad has enough to keep him busy these days. Besides, he knows people in the Heartland aren’t his enemy, just the ones in D.C.

“Who felt safer during the cold war? Show of hands.”

Remember having a President who had a strategy? Who put Americans first? Who coupled optimism and love of this country with a stern firmness against evil? And wasn’t afraid to call it that, didn’t fear the media, and didn’t worry what other nations thought. As a result, we had the respect and awe of the rest of the world.

I haven’t felt that safe since he left office.

Agreed. I lived down that way before. And as for a terrorist attack around the border, they probably wouldn't want to risk making eastern Mexico as mad at them as Texas. There probably aren't any targets down that way that would attract them: mostly very common folks spread out and in single-level buildings. People there forget any local differences, when something big and ugly happens and become one solid, cohesive bunch (remembering Celia and cohesiveness at other times).

And it would be very difficult for the enemy to run and hide after attacking down there. It's only easy to hide amongst Mexicans or Texicans while being friendly, and there's a whole lot of sparsely populated spaces down there to be seen from the air while traveling.

They'd much more likely go after some affluent shopping place to the northeast or a resort area further to the northwest. The threat against Texicans is probably a feint and a ruse without a demonstration.

To all (Squantos already knows): To sort out such enemy guerrilla chatter, one of the things to do is to put oneself in the enemy's shoes and think through possible scenarios mentally constructed from their rumors.

Sinbad had best not mess with the folks in south Texas. It'd be his undoing from then, 'till it was all she wrote.

We’ve been under constant Terrorist threat sense Obama took office.

They already carried out one successful attack on Boston, and failed in 2 others only because their own bomb’s failed to go off.

Its not a question of If Obama can stop the next terrorist attack, we Know Obama has is eye on the imaginary ‘treat’ of his own domestic political Enemies rather than very real and rather active Foreign Terrorist.

This Administration better wake up.

Do you think they're asleep? This is all by design. Dont you realize the destruction of America is the purpose of this administration? Still folks here at FR don't get it. This is a coup d’état. The destruction of our constitution and the rule of law.
