Yup. If you study history then this question the poster put forth (earnest as it may be) can be easily answered.

The most violent human beings were homosexually inclined. Probably because the gay sex act itself is a violent or humiliating act to the victim.

I think a lot of people have this false idea that gays somehow are these funny prancers that don't know how to fight or be violent.

If that is the case, there would be no gay sex in prisons. Thus endeth the lesson.

I think it is highly relevant that until at most the last century, no society of which I’m aware classified men as straight or gay. IOW, there was no real concept of sexual orientation as a source of identity.

There were always men who had sex with men. Or, more accurately, with boys. Grown men having sex with each other was almost always considered highly deviant.

In most societies sex between men and boys was a matter of moral indifference for the active partner, and a source of shame and stigma for the passive partner. This ties in with the division between he-man homosexual active partners and effeminate passive partners. In most societies, it wasn’t the identity of the partner that was important, it was the submission or domination.

In some, notably the classical Greeks, men having sex with boys was widely considered the most admirable aspect of society. But men who were unable or unwilling to also have sex with women were almost universally disliked/despised.

A relatively few societies, historically speaking, criminalized the act, usually calling it sodomy. But in many of them the laws were seldom enforced, and almost never against any but the powerless.
