Why do you announce you don't have a strategy?"

answer: To send a clear signal to the Jihadists that we are not going to do anything, as long as the waste of oxygen is President.

“If that is true, don’t say anything. Why do you announce you don’t have a strategy?”

And people say he isn’t transparent...

Oh being prepared IS the job of the President,
so this should tell us all we need to know about
his fitness as a leader.

The only thing worse than having no foreign policy is having 0bama’s foreign policy.

The dithering IS the strategy.

No real American would have to take more than three minutes to formulate a strategy concerning ISIS.

Then again, we don’t have a real American as President.

While doing nothing can be part of a strategy, if that is the ONLY tool you have in your kit bag, that isn’t good.

I wonder if Obama has come to the realization that everything that might work has been done by Bush and that all he had to do was follow up with an equally strong foreign policy. Bush screwed up but attempted to correct his errors even with an impossible congress. ISIS won’t wait around for the Obama dithering, they’ll attack.

He has a strategy. It’s “Don’t do stupid shit.”

We don't have a strategy because the president hasn't chosen one. Plenty of planning is done, being done, and can be refined. A coalition of like minded nations can train and assist the Free Syrian Army to go after ISIS. Further support to all of the Kurds can be provided. Multi national air strikes can prevent ISIS from massing for attacks. Turkey can be forced to close its borders to people traveling to Syria to fight for ISIS. Right now, nations are providing ammunition for the Kurds. The desire to work together is there in many countries. Yet the president has no strategy.
