This is the goal, but it’s the wrong time.

The proper way to destroy a house is set a process in place, then wait. When possible, deepen the process.

Doing what you suggest would be like taking a baseball bat to a half rotted house. Damaging, but no match for more carpenter ants and time, and more time.

The goal is to set the process in place, and then, when the time is right, place your foot on a rotting support, and push just a little. The house was gone, before it was gone.

America is not gone yet. It is too early to kick it. America is rotting, but it is not yet rotted through entirely. So, such action would only serve to wake up the inhabitants, to take action. That would be a big mistake. You let the carpenter ants keep going, and you deepen the sleep.

The intent is correct, but the people who want this -> as Ayn pointed out, they have no selves. Because of this, it doesn’t need to happen in their life times.

They will wait until they can lightly kick it over. By then, it would have been the next breeze anyway.

Frodo asks the blind witch, or whatever was wrong with her, “are these visions ... will they come to pass ... are they fated?.” She answers “They are what will come to pass if you fail.”

I pray you are right. I pray I am wrong.

This would be an ideal time in Obama's mind.

This is the goal, but it’s the wrong time.

From the mouse's perspective as it is hypnotized by the snake, there is no "right" time.

My gut tells me that Laz is probably more correct than wrong, and like him, I'd rather eat tasty crow on that one, but ... I don't think so. Maybe it will take a little longer, a few more years, or maybe in a different venue, but Laz, I share your sense that it's coming down to a decided timeline on somebody's schedule ready to launch via that letter regarding suspensions of EBTs... but how do you know it's authentic, Laz?

... anyway, that letter kind of fits into the sudden and ominous increase I've seen with my own eyes of pistol-packin' Federal officials in ostensibly civilian roles, they're so peaceful, such as park ranger or wildlife officials. Packing firearms and authority!

And glimpses here and there of authoritative-looking "Homeland Security" SUVs slipping through town, with very self-important-looking people behind the wheel. My hackles go up. There's something heavy in the wind and it's been stirring for about a year and a half. The Americans are getting restless, with good reason.

Destruction of the American Republic has been going on for over 100 years, since President Woodrow Wilson, father of the progressive movement, set the deed in motion. Seems like quite a bit of mayhem has occurred already.

Sometimes there is a deadline for the act, and the process isn’t progressing fast enough. O et al see November approaching, and looks like GOP will take the Senate instead of losing the House. O has his clever plans, but seems he has a poor handle on managing them when they start going off the rails - hence the expectation of a dramatic & coarse act (shut off EBT, blame the GOP).
