Hah! Pitched mine in ‘73, never have had another one.
We have a screen on which we watch Netflix and purchased movies and TV
series, but we control the content, not some lap-dog, propaganda media.
And we promptly shut off anything that stinks of trying to change our minds
about political goings on or the sanctity of Christianity.

I have looked at half a dozen movies in the last 15 years. The last one I saw that I actually enjoyed was Forrest Gump. I was intrigued by the reviews of Alice in Wonderland but , not following movie literature and business dealings, was unaware that it was a Disney thing. ̀5 minutes into it that became apparent and I could script out the whole damned thing instantly. As with most movies I have gone to see, the question burst into my mind-"I spent x dollars to spend 2 hours watching this? Note: I don't include 2016 or America in that.
