Where do people get the idea that American politicians actually want to be tyrants or presidents for life?Uh, haven't read much about FDR have you?

While aware of FDR, I never saw him. LOL!

Touché. They did change the Constitution since then, though, and most of the presidents lately are more concerned with cashing their retirement checks, playing golf, and sleeping safely in their bed than in risking chaos just to stay in power.
