I love my tin foil hat.

But Obama declaring himself El Presidente?

The guy HATES his job and obviously would rather be on the golf course or bathhouse.

I cannot see him wanting that job forever.

Oh, I don’t see Obama staying in power. I see him pleased as punch he destroyed the American election system, as well as put middle America on the death path, but... naw, I agree, he’s out. He’d be back to his golf, and his other ‘less dignified’ pursuits.

Obama hates his job because of the restrictions on his behavior. If he were given full dictatorial powers including summary execution of opponents-he’d be in his own little heaven.

He doesn’t hat his job. He is treating it as if he were a real Sultan. He spends his time in pleasure while his wazir and eunuchs in DC tend to the details of the Transformation.

He feels entitled to those perks. With power at his disposal, don’t expect him to leave them.

History is full of kings who cared not for the job, just enjoyed the perks & powers. Their subjects did not fare well, especially when attempting to do something about it ... until they were willing to escalate accordingly, which is often hard for good people.

I’m reminded of Mad King Ludwig of Austria. You’ve seen pictures of Neuschwanstein Castle (arguably the most picturesque of all); that was the _fourth_ castle he had built at great expense, and the throne room featured an elaborate mural which, among other gratuities, depicted his planned _fifth_. Some 170 days after the castle was completed, his psychiatrist declared him unfit to rule, and Ludwig (and the psychiatrist) were discovered floating in the lake the next morning.
