John Boehner is fetching the donuts...ain’t no shutdown gonna’ happen on his watch....
I revise my plan to deal with this by not defunding programs, but by defunding Obama. Personally. Make him pay for every trip on AF1, every meal, every housekeeper and cook, even utilities. Why should the American people be paying for this when he can clearly afford it himself. If he chooses not to pay, then HE can lay of all of those slaves...uummmm staff.
And now, given the lack of action on their part to stop this madness I extend the plan to include Congress. Defund every perk, every aide, every lunch server, the bank, the gym, the electricity for the offices. There is not one senator or congressperson who couldn’t and shouldn’t be paying for their own assistants/lunch/gym membership.
All it will take is one loud tea-party rep to get this started and get out in front of the spin. I think I’ll write Scalise, but with his recent ascent up the ladder, I don’t know if he would be the one to do it.
