Hillary Clinton addressed the events in Ferguson, Mo., on Thursday for the first time since the killing of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer, calling for a "thorough and speedy investigation."
"We don't want to see our streets look like a war zone. Not in America. We are better than that," she said at a technology conference in San Francisco, responding to images broadcast across the country of police in helmets and armored vehicles deploying tear gas.
She also praised "decent and respectful law enforcement officers, who showed what quality law enforcement looked like."
"We cannot ignore the inequities that persist in our justice system," she added.
They were her first comments since the shooting on Aug. 9 and the protests that drew national attention. Today is the 51st anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I have a Dream" Speech, which Clinton noted.
The likely 2016 Democratic front-runner had drawn some criticism for her previous silence on the issue.

She should have said, “With a black democrat president and a black attorney general, what would you expect but a race-based reaction to any law enforcement incident that involved a black perp and a white cop? That’s what we do. Pander to our low intelligence base to make sure they know who’s side we’re on.”

Since we have been making the point repeatedly that Obama, Holder, and any other of the Federal officials had no business involving themselves in a local issue - why should we expect Hillary to weigh in? Staying out of it was one of the best things she could do - of course, until pressure caused her to fold.

Didn't seem to bother her what the streets of Arkasas looked like when her husband was governor.
There are far fewer dead people in Ferguson, or even all of Missouri.
How many dead people in Missouri have a direct connection to the governor there?

Has this or any other Missouri governor's wife hired private investigators to keep women quiet?
Did any of those private investigators intimidate those women?

"We cannot ignore the inequities that persist in our justice system," she added. I agree Hillary, most of us would have done time for committing the kinds of crime you and Bill have. Unfair you say? Indeed.

Hillary's tried to come down firmly on EVERY SIDE of the Ferguson issue. Here's two bits for the cops, two bits for the protesters, two bits for the blowhard elites...
It's like Hillary's ‘listening’ tours... where every audience member thinks she agrees with them - or at least sees their point. What a phony - what a manipulative phony.
