A group founded by former Obama aide Van Jones and former MoveOn.org activist James Rucker is calling on the Internet fundraising platform GoFundMe.com to take down its Support Officer Darren Wilson page, accusing the company of profiting from racially motivated donors.
The Color of Change, founded by Jones and Rucker in 2005 to strengthen the political voice of Black America, says on its website that donors to Officer Wilson are celebrating Michael Browns death and that GoFundMe should take down the police officers fundraising page and return any profits it has generated.
The fundraising campaign for Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson has exploded over the past nine days, raising more than $234,000 in the original GoFundMe page, as first reported Aug. 19 by WND.
Now Wilsons supporters have started a second page raising more than $176,000 in six days from nearly 4,000 donors, with the goal of reaching $250,000.

Free speech for me but not for thee. Plus the Wilson defense fundraising is outperforming the Brown memorial fundraising. Can’t have that!
They did learn something: if you want to railroad somebody on a trumped up charge, it’s important to dent them the ability to defend themselves.
The racial charge here is just the means. The goal is to deny Wilson the $$$ he’s going to need to defend himself.
This kind of mindset will have no problem with political incarcerations and kangaroo courts. Can't people see where this is going?
“... accusing the company of profiting from racially motivated donors.
Careful now! You may be held to the same standard!
(Well, ok..probably not.)
It’s Selma all over again!!
I like it. I think I am going to use that.
Just think about the freedom they experience. The ability state your opinion anywhere without getting judged or fired from your job. Preferential treatment in hiring for government and other unionized jobs. Receiving officially recognized protected class status. The ability to personally profit from many situations like theft, embezzlement, welfare, corruption, bribes, graft, etc.. where more moral, conservative Americans would simply refuse.
Yes, I think "leftist privilege" is a real thing and they need to check it every now and then.
These guys don’t realize that whatever goodwill existed toward the Black community by non-Blacks (not just Whites, but Asians, Hispanics and even conservative Blacks) is being extinguished by these antics (and by Obama and Holder personally).
Projection.
The outraged mobs on queue from both blacks and muslims tells you the radical left is working with and directing muslims.
You can see an example of it with the attack in Benghazi.
First the attack was planned, then the protest in Egypt was planned to create the “spontaneous attack” lie, then the outrage over the video was concocted to create the “spontaneous protest” lie.
What we ended up with was the video led to a protest which led to an attack.
The left hates the First Amendment almost as much as the Second Amendment.
Comedy gold.
any idiot would think blacks are fed up what with him trying to import millions of latins who will only compete with unemployed unskilled blacks for jobs.
And thinking folks are more than fed up with quotas.
If this fraud Van Jones is the most prominent spokesman for the Blasck people ,God Help Them. Isn’t it too bad that thousands of people support Officer Wilson and not his choice, evidently Jones chose his person Poorly. He should spend his energies to educate the young Black kids so they can live a good life.
Jones seems to be a Taller, Fat Al Sharpton.
We need to exploit that concept.
What are the obvious elements of “Leftist Privilege”?
1. Ability to use the race card any time you want to.
2. Freedom to lie without being challenged.
Thoughts?
Freedom to limit Free Speech of others.
