5% continues to support 100% of FR
BTLD | 8/27/14 | BTLD

The sad truth remains that 5% of FReepers support 100% of FR. Can you imagine what it would be like if we had 10% support? These things would wrap up in days, not months.

When I joined FR ten years ago, it was not uncommon to git 'er done in 7-10 days. It was less expensive 10 years ago, but, it really shouldn't take two months.

Not everybody can donate. I get that. But, I'm certain that we have some among the 95% that are FReeploading. Harsh words, but I know it's true.

Imagine no FR. No way to get the REAL news that affects us all. No pool of talent to ferret out the real truth. No ability to call BS when we see it.

The list goes on.

We need your help. We need new donors. We need new blood.

If you've never donated, give it a whirl. If you donate once in a while, try monthly donations. It's really painless.

Imagine a Freepathon that lasts days, not months.

Monthlies are included in both actual receipts and pledges.

- - - -

Which is what I told you in my FReepmail. My words to you about 3 hours ago were “It is a total of what is being donated monthly over the quarter, received plus pledged.”

But that is not the topic in which you created all this tension among Freepers.

Okay. In for a penny, in for a pound. At least a few more pennies. I just wish there wasn't so much religious bashing amongst fellow Christians. Some of it strikes me as quite pharisaical and useless. But rough and tumble it is...

That is caused by a loose connection in the Rabbit’s helm control servo.

Surely, Christ frowns on this; I agree.

LOL!
I thought rabbits had no helm control to begin with.

Oh yes, Split independent servo for each rear leg. One servo loses the watchdog check due to a lose wire and Boom! Round in circles he goes.

I’ve got to move on. I’m having more anger and frustration on this than I want to have.

Cheers and God Bless.

To quote good brer Chunga:

I bet if FR management got rid of obnoxious morons like humblegunner it’s fund-raising drive would be wrapped up by now.

While I freely and proudly admit to being obnoxious, I'd be very interested in seeing examples of how I'm "moronic".

Further, I'd like to hear any evidence, even subjective, as to how anything I do has any bearing on fund raising.

Perhaps good brer Chunga thinks that sometimes my helpful
criticisms derail threads. I would submit that his remark has
done exactly that same thing to this thread. So shame on good brer Chunga.

“We are of kindred minds on this subject. I don’t have a bad, outdated, or backwoods system, but some sites we get linked to are so FULL of ads, pop-ups, auto videos, etc., that they just lock my system in super slow mode. I used to be patient. Now I just close them out and go back to good ole Free Republic where I can discuss conservatism unhindered by intrusions.”

So many of the links have ads that carry warnings from CA and/or Norton that they are potentially dangerous sites.

Many of these ads overwhelm Comcast, which is probably in bed with them.

I find myself using Google to go to my favorite sites. I have combined Ad Muncher with Norton’s system that checks out sites. Ad Muncher eliminates many of those sites. If it doesn’t Norton may warn you not to log on or show that the site is not approved by Norton.
