Rosa Parks unfortunately had other encounters with street thugs
On August 30, 1994, Joseph Skipper, an African-American drug addict, entered her home and attacked the 81-year-old Parks in the course of a robbery. The incident sparked outrage throughout the United States. After his arrest, Skipper said that he had not known he was in Parks' home but recognized her after entering. Skipper asked, "Hey, aren't you Rosa Parks?" to which she replied, "Yes." She handed him $3 when he demanded money, and an additional $50 when he demanded more. Before fleeing, Skipper struck Parks in the face.
The thieves probably rode the bus to her apartment.
Maybe they don’t like coppers...
When I lived in Michigan in the early 90’s, Rosa Parks often made the local news as a crime victim. Always at the hands of young black thugs who had no idea who she was.
Hey, aren't you Rosa Parks?
Yes.
KA-BAMM!!!!!
You mean to tell me that the wiring, the plumbing pipes, her toilet, her dirty underpants and used toilet paper haven’t been enshrined in the Smithsonian?
It’s a national disgrace, that’s what it is.

Hey, what’s da’ big deal. Just wealf redistribution in action. Ol’ Rosa got too much publicity, made some money, actin’ too white. She gots to pay HER fair share, too...Yo?!
what she did was historic and did need to be done, however, a huge misconception is that her actions were spontaneous. In fact they were nothing of the sort — she was a long time political activist and her role was chosen:
Her sitting down in the Font Of Tha Bus was an action was ASSIGNED to her by a political committee.
Less worthy? Prolly not.
But the notion that she was a completely apolitical southern black woman who simply had reached a privately held “limit” is a total LIE.
Oh no! The tragedy! I won’t be able to sleep tonight!
what’d they do to Reagan’s boyhood home again?
White thugs and thieves would have been quite noticeable in that neighborhood. Must have been the Amish that stole the copper. They’d be less likely to have been noticed.
Zimbabwe animals
Over a decade now I’ve been hearing about copper wire/pipe thieves and I know people who’ve been struck.
Since the current laws aren’t working, how about death penalty offense to keep them off the streets?
In the 80s I knew someone who couldn’t start her car one morning because someone who needed a part just took it out of her engine.
