Report urges Pentagon to allow transgendered military personnel to openly serve

Gay military service personnel may now serve openly, and now former top Pentagon officials believe that another group should be afforded the same treatment: transgendered Americans.

A report issued Tuesday by retired Maj. Gen. Gale S. Pollock, former acting surgeon general of the Army; Brig. Gen. Clara Adams-Ender, former chief of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps; and Brig. Gen. Thomas A. Kolditz, a Yale University professor and professor emeritus at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, opened the door for ending a de-facto “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy for transgendered individuals, the Washington Examiner reported.

So, let me get this straight.

I'm sorry, you can no longer use the word 'straight' when referring to articles about the military. You could be fined for repeat offenses.

I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military.

Where the hell are we going with this?

Do these boots make my butt seem big?

What color lipstick goes with camouflage?

O I broke a nail on the hand grenade pin!

I'm not ready for the attack, I'm still doing my hair!

I deeply hate left wing nuts that use our military for social experimentation.

The military is to kill people and break things.

Unfrickin’ unbekievable! Does anyone realize the costs associated with keeping them transgendered? It’s simply stupid!

I wonder exactly how many people this would cover. I really can’t imagine that many transgendered individuals would have any interest in the military. I also can’t imagine how they could perform well in any of the tests they would have to pass to get accepted. Thinking maybe this is meant to cover people already in the military and keep them from getting discharged. Which of course leads to another set of questions about how these changes affect moral and discipline. The whole thing just seems impossible to administer which is why libs have to come up with regulations that take the rights away from the majority of people to even whisper the faintest of concerns.

NO

Stop with the womb envy, already. Stop depersonalizing women and their role in society to just a state of mind. Stop it!

The traditional standard for a security clearance was that you could not be compromised through blackmail, were mentally sane and reliable.
Transgenderism is a mental illness. When the mind doesn’t match the body, you have a mental illness, not a body that needs to change. Therefore, transgenders shouldn’t be serving in the military at all.
The homosexual community, especially the men, have short term relationships - and the 5% of male relationships that last past 5 years are “open” with each member getting to cheat. A married heterosexual who has affairs is considered compromised. The same should be true for a homosexual in the same case. And thus they cannot hold a Top Secret clearance, something almost required for most military positions as well as many defense contractors.

The evil side effect of many of these “embrace sexual diversity” executive orders is the effect on the military as well as defense contractors.
For defense contractors fighting over smaller contracts, the tie breaker for a contract may now be the “diversity index”, measuring things like the percentage of homosexuals and transgendered, whether the company covers sex change surgery in the health benefits, whether they have diversity training every year, etc.
Add this to the other forms of quotas, and the only way a straight white man will get hired at a defense contractor is if he is a disabled veteran or literally the only person in the room who can do the job.

Leftists want to normalize the abnormal. If that means national security is at risk until sexual deviancy is accepted asnormal and therefore no longer a security risk, then so be it. The ends justify the means. National security be damned.

Bradley Manning, homosexual turned transgender, is solid proof such individuals should not be allowed to hold a security clearance. Between the mental imbalance and free-wheeling love life that compromises most of them, they should be barred from a security clearance.
As was common sense through the 1970s.
