yes....well, did this happen on the scale reported, appears to me to be exaggerated...surely the families of these children, would reported them missing....1400 children, is a large group of people missing from schools and homes....

From the article this was all confined within the Muslim community.

Western authorities tend to stay out of internal Muslim community matters. Both because Muslims are reluctant to come forward ( both based on culture and due to threats/coercion as documented in the article) and because there’s extreme political pressure (see George Galloway) to stay out.
