We continue to have a solid military to military relationship with Qatar…. Obviously, we don’t encourage any support by any nation for terrorist groups and extremists, particularly in that part of the world.
I’ve seen those reports and if the reports are true absolutely that’s concerning.

Sir, let me help you up. And if I may just interject a nagging fact: Qatar. Supports. Terror.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, how about if we, the people, do an end run around the Pentagon and their lies and cut to the chase? Please tell your elected officials the United States must break all ties with states that support terror. Duh!

This has been going on now for how long?
It's probably not. Whether it's getting through or being ignored for political reasons is another matter. This admin has been wrong on so many things and it's not because the info was not available to them.
The only thing anyone needs to know is that Qatar hosts our largest base in the middle east. We will never find terrorists in Qatar, even if they live next door, in the same way the Pakistaní government never found bin Laden living down the street from retired military. If we happen to find terrorists in Qatar we will lose that base.

This problem isn’t just limited to the Democrats. A lot of Republicans refuse to acknowledge terror sponsors like Qatar and Saudi Arabia because they let us use their territory for military bases.
