Justice Dept. Opens New Asylum Gate For Guatemalans

The Department of Justice’s board of immigration appeals has decided to let Guatemalan women win asylum in the United States if they claim to be victims of domestic violence.

The decision creates a huge new incentive for Guatemalan women to cross the U.S. border, because if their asylum claim is accepted, their children get U.S. citizenship, plus the use of federal health, education and retirement programs, regardless of their initial education and work skills.

The new decision also means that many of the Guatemalan women who have already crossed the border this year have a new claim for asylum.

Coyotes and migrants in Central America are exploiting the administration’s lax policies. From Oct. 1 to July 31, 55,420 adults and children from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras crossed the border to file asylum claims following the White House’s 2010 decisions to relax enforcement. Another 57,525 “unaccompanied alien minors” were brought by coyotes to the U.S. border, in the expectation that federal agencies will deliver the minors to their parents and relatives already living in the United States.

Few of those who have crossed the border have been sent home.

Since 2010, the administration has relaxed immigration enforcement even though the annual supply of new labor — 4 million Americans youths, roughly 600,000 working-age immigrants and roughly 800,000 foreign guest-workers — far exceeds companies’ demand for extra labor. In response, household wages have dropped since 2010, and nearly all of the income gains since 2010 have gone to the wealthiest investors.

Outside the United States, hundreds of millions of women suffer from domestic violence, according to an advocacy report by the United Nations’ World Health Organization. “Overall, 35% of women worldwide have experienced either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence,” said the 2013 report, which is titled “Global and regional estimates of violence against women.”

Opening the way for every, single female illegal to stay - and vote Democrat.

This is all about votes.

And you’re going to pay for it in taxpayer funded benefits for every one of these erstwhile illegals, as the Democrats sacrifice the economy - and most especially YOUR economy and that of your family - to purchase votes.

They’re selling the United States down the river in order to generate political clout.

Let me guess. And once everyone is happily living in the United States and enrolled in the welfare system, they can bring their husbands in?

Perhaps Robin Williams should have filed for Asylum in Guatemala to escape the domestic abuse of alimony?

Former Guatemala Prez used US banks to launder millions (elected to "redistribute" nation's wealth)

An ex-president of Guatemala faced charges in NY that he used US banks to launder millions looted from his impoverished nation. Alfonso Portillo took office in 2000 pledging to redistribute Guatemala’s wealth.

Portillo, 61, allegedly ran scams to drain the impoverished country's coffers. The feds say Portillo embezzled about $2.5M provided by the Taiwanese embassy....$1.5 million was earmarked for “Libraries for Peace”....books for school kids.

Portillo personally endorsed three, $500,000 checks issued against an account at the Intl Bank of China in Manhattan, then deposited the cash in the Miami bank account of a Guatemalan bank controlled by “a close associate and political supporter” .....the money was funneled to bank accounts in Paris in the names of Portillo’s ex-wife and daughter.

Portillo swindled nearly $4M defense funds ...and plundered the national bank run by his alleged co-conspirator through overdrafts financed by public reserves -- stolen money paid for expensive watches and cars, for himself and his associates, according to the indictment. (NY POST 5/28/13)

WIKI The Guatemalan population at the 2010 Census was 1,044,209. Guatemalans are the fifth largest Hispanic group in the United States and the second largest Central American population, after Salvadorans. Half of the Guatemalan population is situated in two parts of the country, the Northeast and Southern California.

The intensification of the Guatemalan Civil War during the 1970s and 1980s led to an influx of tens of thousands of Guatemalan refugees into the United States via Mexico, via both legal and illegal means. Guatemalan refugees became an important political and economic influence on seeking an end to their homeland's civil war, which finally came about in 1996.

They also organized to change policies of the Mexican government in dealing with Guatemalan immigrants' legal status, their experience in Mexico, and difficulties of Guatemalans in Mexico immigrating to the US.

Half of the Guatemplan population is situated in two parts of the country, the Northeast and Southern California. A combined population of 267,335 resides in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties. This is all about votes.

I think it's all about providing a pathway for the terrorists...Almost all of Congress is part of the New World Order...There can not be a NWO with a One World Gov't if our Nation is superior to any other Nation...We have to get knocked down a number of notches...

And a good way to start that is to reduce our military to where we can not even defend ourselves...
