[WASHINGTON, D.C.] U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) today announced a total of $1,703,777 in funding through the Affordable Care Act to support construction and renovation projects at community health centers in Chicago, Illinois and the Chicagoland area. This funding, provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), was made available through the Patient Centered Medical Home Facility Improvement Grant program.
Community health centers serve an important purpose for families in Illinois and across the country, Durbin said. With the help of these federal resources, made available through the Affordable Care Act, Illinois health centers can continue to improve the care and critical services they offer those in Chicago and the surrounding communities.
Pork for mid-term elections to ‘look good’ for the cause. Enough said.
With many doctors refusing to accept 0bamacare, will anyone be to use them?
More theft from taxpayers to spread around as stealth reparations.
Vote the Turban out of office.
I heard about this guy on the Herman Cain show

Sounds like a good Conservative candidate.
$1.7 million isn’t enough government money to renovate a bathroom!
1.7 mil?
That may cover the hospital cost for one or two that made it to the hospital?
That reads like a lot of money, with the commas and exact dollar figure and all, but after the graft, payoffs, kickbacks, and so on, that will just about cover a spray can of Bactine and and maybe a few Band-Aids thrown in.
I will bet that won’t even cover the uninsured gunshot victims in Chicago from last weekend.
“That may cover the hospital cost for one or two that made it to the hospital?”
But-as I recall, in Illinois, a doctor _in a hospital_ has to pronounce you dead, even if they pick you up in numerous pieces after being hit by a train. So, they make money on you even AFTER you are very clearly DEAD.
Because of the grace of BHO and the Democrat party all Americans now have health insurance. Why are “Health Centers” needed?
CC
Sure, why not? It’s a bottomless cookie jar..spend, spend, spend, just monopoly money to these fools.
Why are Health Centers needed?

That amount of a grant won’t buy more than maybe 2 health centers at most. What a joke.
Specializing in gun shot wounds?
