The Turks were allies of the Arabs, just like today, before the British Empire got the Arabs to revolt.
And if the Ottoman Empire wasn’t broken up, then Israel would have still been part of “South Syria”.
I suppose there’s a lot of “what ifs” if the end of WWI was handled differently.
Would the Nazis even have come to power? Thus, allowing most Jews to continue living in Europe?
