Unfortunately, he's pretty savvy when it comes to staying in the money of those who are the truly stupid...and lazy...and have a sense of entitlement. He milks them for all they're worth,and knows how to play them like the instruments they are. And,it's not only the unwashed masses he enjoys bilking; he's pretty good at playing the media as well. He's got a job at MSLSD as long as he wants it.

Stupid, yes. But only to us and our worldview.

It shows that we’ve reached a point with identity politics where community leaders like Sharpton can say stuff like this, publicly, and not be challenged on it.

In the event that the physical evidence exonerates the cop, precluding any sort of prosecution, Sharpton’s words and the complete lack of any alternative to them being presented to his target audience virtually guarantees more violence, rioting and bloodshed.

It’s not, I think, going to work out as they expect it to. I don’t think the rest of the population has reached the point where threats of further riots/violence can successfully be used as coercion. At least in a broad sense (wimps like Gov. Nixon excepted). If anything, I’d expect the rest of the public to be increasingly fed up with it, giving rise to an increasing “bring it, a**holes” mentality.
