Like the man says .. WAR means to kill people and break things.
Long before it was deemed WAR could be fought with gentlemanly rules, you took no prisoners with the idea being that every man that ‘walks’ off the battlefield can potentially come back and ‘haunt’ you.
Like all the ‘bad guys’ attitudes of killing crewman in the water. The ‘winning’ ship didn’t have the provisions or will to care for the sick and or wounded enemy, if they lived - even in a life boat - the survivors would ship out again and become your ‘problem’.
Even the ‘Geneva Convention’ rules don’t work unless both sides abide by the basics.
If you can agree on that, chances are you could have probably ‘worked’ out your problems before you started shooting at each other.
Even when they tried to ‘humanize’ boxing, they set up rules to follow, then placed another person in the ring to see the rules were followed.
People still received concussions, and on a rare occasion or two someone died BUT the odds of dying as a result of a boxing match dropped considerably ...
Before long people got ‘bored’ at watching 2 250 lb people walk around the square circle occasionally landing a blow now and then.

Eye bleach IS a picture of a beautiful woman to remove the helen thomas image from one’s eyes. You have a point about you being a girl and would like a picture of a guy.
