I would like to start the “tar and feather challenge” ...Tar and feather a liberal and run them out of town on a rail.

Is this going to end up as ubiquitous as the “pink” awareness ribbons.

Love Ya Rush, but sometimes It’s good to just lighten up. It’s a good thing to have some fun and not worry about how goofy you look doing it. There, I said it.

I’m sure he will consider your advice prior to reaffirming what he believes in the first place.

Yeah, I did it. But I am also going to send a small donation. I think the point Rush was trying to make is that the ddonation is the key. But lets not lose sight of the fun of the challenge and the ice buckets. That is what is keeping it going. If someone had just sent me an email asking for a donation I would almost certainly not gotten involved. I get a dozen or more in my email every day asking for support for this or that.

I agree. I’ve done it and you can do both if you wish. It was a blast.

The ALS Foundation funds Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Of course, that means the killing of babies. Besides, ESCR has never produced ANY treatment for any disease.

And you can make a specific request that your donation not be used for that stuff.

I appreciate your position. I am merely pointing out how to make sure any donation goes where you are comfortable.

Well, I'm pro-life and believe the use of embryonic stem cells is immoral and am against it. But I've also seen people who passed away from that terrible disease. It ain't pretty. I would guess that Foundation is not the only one searching for a cure.
