In the weeks afterward, until his shooting death by Darren Wilson, a white police officer, on Aug. 9, they detected a change in him as he spoke seriously about religion and the Bible. He was grappling with life’s mysteries.

I’m surprised that auto-correct didn’t catch your typo there. You didn’t include the word “white” which is a required modifier of the noun “cop” whenever discussing this case.
Perhaps you should write “unarmed black teen shot by a white cop” 100 times as penance. Never mind, in the time it took me to write this the MSM already has.
I skimmed the article. I think the Slimes dusted off the farcical spin template Tom Wolfe used in "Bonfire of the Vanities".
Too many cliches from misrepresented half-truths to wade through: "Used his size to avoid confrontation", going to HVAC technical college, and was an aspiring rapper.
But, he was a good boy. I like how the NYT primarily uses his friend’s account of the incident to paint the picture of what happened. I hope those liberal jackoffs in New York rot in hell
