With President Obama expected to announce executive action on immigration reform soon, Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutiérrez says he is telling people to “get ready.”
“It's music to my ears that someone would have a source at the White House that say it's 5 million. Let me just say, tomorrow, the next day, and all of this week we're getting ready,” he said.
Gutiérrez appeared on MSNBC's Jose Diaz-Balart after MSNBC senior White House correspondent Chris Jansing said that senior White House officials expect Obama to grant executive amnesty to around 5 million illegal immigrants after his European trip to Estonia and Wales next week.
Reports have indicated that the executive action President Obama is planning to make by the end of summer could legalize some 5 million undocumented immigrants.
According to Gutiérrez, such a move would be “huge” and will require a lot of work.

Half of America is on welfare or food stamps, some kind of entitlement program....so now they want 5 million more, which means 1/3 will be supporting 2/3 of the country....not an exact number but you get my drift....NOT sustainable!
Democrats have a history of dumping stuff the Friday night before a holiday weekend, when people are least likely to care.
And this weekend is Labor Day weekend.

1. He is starting to pat himself on the back as he sees his hard work all these years finally become reality. What a hero. What a traitor to fellow Americans.
2. He can barely sleep and contain his emotions as the day of the executive order and the promised land quickly approaches.
3. He can just about taste success. He knows that the sweet taste of victory is only a few inches from his traitorous tongue.

We no longer have an opposition party, so again, who will stop Obama from pardoning anyone he pleases?
Probably. But Obama's calculation is that he is willing to concede an election cycle or two knowing that the GOP advantage will be short-lived and that they will do nothing to roll back his leftist advances. In another four or eight years the demographic wave he has un-dammed will play out and the left will have won. Permanently.
Or, until the shooting starts.

Would the SS be able to keep him safe? I hope so. I would much rather have him in jail than have him a martyr for the Democrats to use as they did with Jack Kennedy and Paul Wellstone.

I was thinking the same thing; he will pull a number out of thin air, but it will be a blanket amnesty backwards and forward. I wonder if conservatives will parrot that number, like they MINDLESSLY parrot the 11 million number.
