When I was a little kid, my mom told me that if a policeman told me to do something, I should do it. I’ve lived my life that way. Why couldn’t Michael Brown and his friend just move from the middle of the street when asked to by the policeman? If he had, he’d still be alive. That one simple act of defiance is responsible for him being where he is.

She probably also would have told you while you were driving "Don't take that road; it leads to Ferguson." That bit of advice can also help keep people alive.
