I come to freerepublic to read stories like this.

Too bad you had to click offsite to read it then.

It never occurred to you to wonder why?

Like maybe some mook was directing traffic toward someplace with a headline you like?

Is that scam so effective that you don't even see it?

There's 9 paragraphs here, and you don't have to go elsewhere to get the gist of the story.

People also post stuff from HuffPO... that doesn't mean they're trying to promote HuffPo.

I clicked offsite and then came back. He gave me enough to want to read it. This story is showing how the house of cards is coming down over there.

I know your thing humblegunner, and don’t want to get into a pissing match with you. I just thought you might want to know that some people come here to find stories like this. The click offsite is not much of a problem for me.

I do however appreciate the full stories over excerpts and I understand the other site might be getting ad money from the clicks here.

If the story is worth reading, why should I care if they get a hit? How does that make it a “scam”? And who made you the posting police anyway?
