In 1998, Clinton ignored a similar declaration of war from Osama. We all know how that turned out. ISIS could create havoc by sending three or four well armed gunmen to an American mall, much like the Somalis did in Kenya. Such an attack would give great joy to the Muslim world and help ISIS recruiting and money raising. I’m not at all confident that Obama is capable of a meaningful response.
When (not if) ISIS attacks the US, it will be determined the terrorists came across our Swiss Cheese border.
Why hassle with plane tickets and super tight security when you can just waltz across the border anytime.
And, of course, you can carry stuff across the border you’d never get in a plane.
