The funny thing is if there ever were a serious attempt to move to a dictatorship, the press and Hollywood would be lined up and shot first...

I see this all the time but I'm not sure I believe it. These two groups are responsible for propogandizing the entire country, and do it enthusiastically and without compunction.

And I think the serious attempt has been underway for some time now.

They are also incredibly naive and don't think they would be subject to it, only the "little people" will be.

Of course once they realize the truth, it will be too late for them.
