You can take them for thinking we shouldn’t have taken any military action at all after 09/11/01.
Just give the terrorists a free pass, because God forbid you should be called a warmonger.
If the ISIS/ISIL campaign in the Middle-East is successful, it will be in large part because the United States stayed out of it. And it will have stayed out of it because Obama, Jimmy Carter, Richard Gere, Rand Paul, and folks like you would rather see a massive Islamic Caliphate in the Middle-East than squash the movement like a bug up front.
Sad that Bush didn’t crush them either. Aside from the press piling on him like a whole defensive line on an undersized running back, he should have pressed forward; but I am not sure that he had the will.
