Actually, a number of Dem run libs cities are very nice places. Madison, Wisc. for example in my state is a very nice place. That's because most white Dems and Republicans, despite their poltical differences, live very similar lives and like much of the same things. Low crime cities with lots of Dems are highly preferable to cities with more Republicans but high crime. The lack of a large Black Underclass is the main difference. I'm sorry reciting facts disturbs you.
For the record, I don't like large cities no matter the crime rate. That's why I live semi out in the country far away from any big city.
