Fact is, the F-15 was far superior to the SU-27. Improvements were made but in the end, the improvements were never superior to those that the U.S. fielded and aside from the mechanical/technical aspects, the training of the pilots in the Soviet Union/Russia would never reach the standards achieved in the U.S. during the 20th Century.
The flanker is and was a very capable aircraft, but it was and still is inferior to the aircraft it was designed and produced to “fight”.

Unfortunately, existing F-15s are wearing out. There is barely enough money to keep them flying, let alone for any "improvements". New F-15 variants could have been built a long time ago, but the money is needed to keep the ghettos pacified.
Su-27s and derivatives are still rolling off the lines.

Seems we have "designed" to allow this updated aircraft to win... by investing in
modern stealth turds instead of the F-15SE.

It was and still is. This article is tripe. No question, a premier fighter, buuuuttt.....
Even the latest fighters around the world would struggle against the -15. Add a combat experienced pilot?
Cya bye.
