TOURE: I don't know what exactly happened when Michael Brown and Darren Wilson collided but I know too well the heart ache it has caused a nation where many feel that black life is worth less. This sign saying black lives matter is so simple and so powerful and so insane that we still feel the need to say it. In the 50s, blacks march with a sign saying 'I Am A Man.' The difference between those sentiments is paper thin. Blacks are still trying to get America to see and treat black people as if black and white lives matter equally. Sensing that black life matters less comes most often and most acutely from seeing these frequent incidences where black men are gunned down by police. The victims of police shootings are disproportionately black.
We live in a nation where an unarmed Eric Garner, surrounded by multiple officers who interrogated him for selling cigarettes, is killed but a mass murderer in Aurora, Colorado, who killed many people using multiple guns, was somehow taken peacefully. A nation where white men can walk into restaurants openly brandishing real assault weapons like performance art and are asked to leave while a black man in an Ohio Wal-Mart was shot while holding a BB gun that he picked up inside that very store. A nation where Cliven Bundy supporters are allowed to meet federal force with their own force and allowed to aim guns at federal officials and have those officials fall back while in Ferguson, protesters were tear-gassed.
The anger, the pain, the trauma around the differential treatment and the violent losses of black life is all too familiar. That's why people all over the country converged on Ferguson and protested with the locals....

Toure....IF the BLACK protests would have been PEACEFUL with NO LOOTING.....I would have FAINTED....and then PRAISED Blacks for coming to their COMMON SENSES!!!! But alas.....I didn’t have to do that.

The cigarette guy resisted arrest, causing the officers to attempt a take down. A sequence of events including a lack of concern by medical people on site led to his death.
The movie shooter walked outside and obeyed the cops instructions. He lived..
The BB gun guy in a Walmart ignored the cops instructions and he died.
Not sure how Bundy fit's into this....(it does not)..can't comment on it.

The nationwide protests on Thursday were named, “Day of Rage.” Such a nice warm fuzzy peaceful name.
A popular talk show host has a different take vis-a-vis Bundy.
Violence, looting, burning, destruction, rioting virtually everything short of mass murder. The Obama Administration sends federal suits to investigate ways of nailing the cops.. in particular one policeman.
Bundy and family peacefully going about their ranch business are surrounded by and in the sights of heavily armed militarily outfitted federal employees and contractors. Far more deadly than Waco even.
So who's the racists? Obama and Holder or the Bundys and supporters?

When one group purposely attacks another racial group then look out, it is then a race riot! Furguson was just a chance to loot.
